For over 6 years, eMotion has supported the growing communication needs of this $2.5 billion global leader in enterprise software.
Initially, PeopleSoft marketing communications needed a simple, efficient way to handle the continuous media requests for photos of their executive team, as well as a repository for a variety of marketing materials. eMotion developed a basic initial site to serve this need, complete with timed-to-expire press "day passes" that allowed named media users to access selected digital image files.
That was just the beginning, and because of the scalability and flexibility of the eMotion hosted platform, PeopleSoft was able expand the functionality of the implementation, and its reach through the organization. Over time, PeopleSoft and eMotion worked together to create "virtual libraries" organized around familiar communications items, including:
Advertising, so field personnel can include both print and video messaging in "downstream" communications like presentations
PowerPoint presentations, containing up-to-date slide shows that describe the company, its products, and its vision, tailored for various functional and industry-specific audiences
Video clips, now over 400 in total, designed for inclusion in field presentations, featuring customer testimonials, executive interviews, and industry experts
A complete Executive Bio section that incorporates both photos and in-depth personnel profiles, in a variety of languages
Collateral and other art files, organizes a wide variety of topics and purposes, including sales support, corporate awareness, and industry trends, and available in several languages
Brand usage guidelines, describing appropriate usage of all corporate communications. Importantly, the company requires formal training in these guidelines prior to allowing user access
As the depth of content grew, PeopleSoft and eMotion collaborated on techniques for guiding users to the appropriate brand content for their specific use. This led to the creation of eMotion's exclusive "logo dispenser" modules; structured UI-level decision trees that handhold users through a series of questions that progressively steer them to the "right" files for their defined need.
The result is a heavily-used, highly valued resource for PeopleSoft marketing, sales, and outside constituents around the world. These groups turn to the PeopleSoft/eMotion implementation to find and distribute a huge variety of brand content every day: the libraries currently total nearly 26,000 files and handle about 10,000 downloads per week. It has become the marketing portal that PeopleSoft personnel depend on for streamlining communications, presenting PeopleSoft products and its vision to clients, and ultimately, for helping to generate revenue for the company.
