The agreement will leverage WAM!NET’s fully managed, global IP network and distribution services along with its data storage infrastructure and services for the storage, retrieval and distribution of digital content. Additionally, eMotion MediaPartner 4.0TM software will be integrated with WAM!BASE, WAM!NET’s centralized, off-site storage and data management services, to deliver a sophisticated, configurable system for management of bandwidth-intensive media assets like digital film and video for the production, post, advertising, government, broadcast and cable markets. The companies expect to announce additional details regarding the alliance and forthcoming solutions in First Quarter 2001.
