Equilibrium and eMotion Announce Strategic Partnership to Integrate Equilibrium's MediaRich Image Server with eMotion's Hosted Digital Asset Management Solution
San Francisco, CA — September 9, 2003 — eMotion, Inc., the leading provider of hosted services for digital asset management and marketing extranets, and Equilibrium, the leading provider of automated image production servers for the enterprise, today announced a strategic partnership to integrate Equilibrium's MediaRich Image Server with eMotion's digital asset management software for its family or products including ArchivePartner, CreativePartner and MediaPartner Enterprise. The agreement enables eMotion to offer dynamic imaging capabilities and premium services to customers within their hosted digital asset management environment.
Equilibrium MediaRich is server-based media templating software that automates image production and enables the multi-channel delivery of visual assets. eMotion has over 50 customers who use its software for media asset loading and archiving, metadata captioning, natural language search, image annotation and project workflow. Integrating the MediaRich capability into eMotion's digital asset management hosted service allows eMotion to provide customers the ability to locate, inspect, modify and deliver one or more digital assets to the Web, Wireless, print and Microsoft 2003 applications.
