WASHINGTON, D.C., USA, December 19, 2001 – eMotion, Inc., the global leader in digital media management solutions, today announced the completion of its merger and integration with San Francisco based AudioBasket.com, the technology leader in the personalization of audio news and information on the Web. The merger will add AudioBasket's technical leadership in the encoding and processing of rich media content to the strength of eMotion's current media management solutions. Moving forward, eMotion will continue its focus on core strengths in software product development that leverages existing patents for corporate brand management and government customers. The result of this merger will be a management and engineering consolidation at the eMotion corporate headquarters outside of Washington D.C., while still maintaining a sales and service presence in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New York and London.
